StarCare’s Pug Minibus Shines at the National Veterinary Conference

On November 4, 2022, the 14th East-West Small Animal Clinical Veterinary Conference, the largest pet medical exhibition in China, successfully concluded at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event brought together over 8,000 leaders in the pet medical industry, experts, scholars, veterinarians, and exhibitors from across the country to Xiamen.

StarCare Animals showcased its innovative ECG products, drawing significant attention from attendees. Notable products included the CATCHER, a wearable ECG device that combines resting ECG and ambulatory ECG functions, as well as a remote real-time telemetry monitoring system offering digital pet ward management solutions. The CATCHER’s features—such as ease of use, no need for shaving, low stress response for pets, compatibility with mobile phones, tablets, and computers, clear waveforms, and comprehensive professional diagnostic results—were highly appreciated by exhibitors, dealers, and attending experts.

Among the highlights of the exhibition was Minibus, a pug from StarCare Animals and an internal product tester. Minibus, known for his calm demeanor, demonstrated the functionality of the devices, with clear and stable signals collected from his surface ECG readings.

At the same event, the WESAVC 2022 China Pet Medical Industry Annual Brand Ceremony was held, where StarCare Animals' CATCHER series received the prestigious Annual Technology Innovation Brand Award.

In China, the concept of pet health began to gain traction in the early 21st century. Like humans, pets also face health challenges, particularly related to heart health, when they experience a worry-free diet but lack sufficient exercise. This issue is particularly relevant for aging cats and dogs, whose health should be closely monitored by pet owners. In addition to managing their diet, regular exercise is crucial. If possible, using a treadmill can be a great way to establish a consistent exercise routine to keep family pets healthy and promote longevity.
